 Peter Grove, who
is the driving force behind Woodwork Recordings,
represents its most extreme sonic nature, with intentions
of both raising the tension level and clearing the air.
Although presenting a more abrasive techno release for
his debut on Woodwork (WOOD1202), Grove can be
expected to produce material of a more abstract nature
alongside his hard-edged dancefloor oriented sound. His
background in many forms of music including progressive
rock, improvisational jazz, cultural music, and
traditional songwiriting have led Grove's production
interests far beyond the various realms of dance music.
While remaining focused on his tech house project -
Sunkissed, and developing two new projects based on
garage house and drum n' bass, he plans to uncover more
techno material on Woodwork in the near future as well as
continuing to release and remix for other imprints. Also
expect to see Peter Grove appearing live as Sunkissed,
delivering a challenging and physically demanding set
that represents music in its purest form without
boundaries. Playing live has always been Peter Grove's
most cherished form of expression, where he strives to
experience moments where the music exists only in time
and place - where performer and spectators share the
responsibilities of listening and composing. |
